Who we are
This website is operated by The Conditioning Co. Pty Ltd (ABN 87 653 704 182), a personal training business based in Perth, Western Australia. Our website address is theconditioningco.com.au.
For any privacy-related enquiries, contact us at josh@theconditioningco.com.au.
What personal information we collect
When you submit the enquiry form on our website, we collect the information you provide. That may include your name, email address, your preferred training location, the type of training you’re interested in, and anything you tell us in your message.
We do not collect personal information unless you voluntarily provide it to us.
Health and sensitive information
Our enquiry form invites you to tell us about injuries, training experience, or anything else we should know before you start. Health information is treated as sensitive information under the Privacy Act 1988, which sets a higher standard for how it is handled.
We collect it only when you choose to give it to us, use it only to plan and deliver your training safely, and do not disclose it outside The Conditioning Co without your consent — except where we are required to by law, or in an emergency where it is necessary to protect your health or safety.
You are never obliged to share health information with us in order to make an enquiry.
How we use your information
We use the personal information you provide to:
- Respond to your enquiry
- Discuss your training goals, availability and whether we are a good fit
- Deliver personal, group or app-based training
- Send follow-up communications related to your enquiry
We will not use your information for purposes unrelated to your enquiry without your consent.
The Conditioning Co app
Training delivered through our app involves information you provide inside the app, such as your program, sessions and progress. That information is handled by the platform the app is built on, under that platform’s own privacy policy. Contact us if you would like to know which platform currently hosts the app.
Where we train
We deliver training at Revo Fitness venues in Claremont and Scarborough. Revo Fitness is a separate business — any membership, access or personal information you provide directly to Revo is handled under Revo’s own privacy policy, not ours.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies necessary for the site to function. We may also use third-party analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site; where we do, those tools collect anonymous information such as browser type, device and pages visited, and it is not linked to your identity.
Our site links out to our profiles on third-party platforms including Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. Once you leave our site, those platforms collect data under their own privacy policies.
How we store and protect your data
Your personal information is stored on our website hosting platform and in our email systems. We take reasonable steps to protect it from unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us operate our website or run our business — for example our hosting provider or email service — where they agree to keep it confidential.
We may disclose your information if required by law, or to protect our rights and safety.
How long we keep your data
We keep your personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. If you would like us to delete your information, contact us using the details above.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate
- Ask us to delete your personal information
- Withdraw your consent for us to contact you
To exercise any of these, email josh@theconditioningco.com.au. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy matter, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
